About

This blog was initally started by a group of friends studying environmental biology at NUS, when we  were embarking on our final year project (+Xin Rui on dung beetles, +Wei Wei on forest plants, +eunice S on Megachile bees). [Update: we've all graduated successfully from NUS now~ (Mar 2015)] As time went by, the blog also evolved to include travel-related blog entries.

Why use a blog? Because blogs are a good avenue for communication. Blogging can be done anytime, anywhere, so long as there is internet access, and similarly, anyone who has an internet connection can access it anytime and anywhere :)

P.S. We don't watermark our photographs because we trust that if you want to use our photographs, you'll ask us. We're very likely to be happy to share our images with you, especially if it is for educational purposes.

Main aims of the blog

1. Communicating science through photographs, text and maps
2. Sharing about travels to beautiful nature spots
3. Write-ups about specialized taxa - dung beetles, plants and ants, and other fauna
